IF YOU'RE GOING TO SAN FRANCISCO...
If you're going to San Francisco... you definitely have to know how to dress well for the weather. Last weekend we were blessed with some astonishing temperatures! High 80s/ low 90s are not a common thing for this city, in fact, there's a saying (some claim those are Mark Twain's words):
The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco.
Coming from a hot Napa Valley but knowing about the city's ever changing moods (summers are usually overcast and chilly - high 60s), I came prepared with my leather jacket in hand. Nonetheless, weather turned out to be perfect, and I'm so glad I got to wear my newest addition from DRESSLINK, a cutout palm tree print top. It was on repeat all weekend long!
It's such a perfect summer piece, so easy to breathe in and rock that oh so popular palm tree print lately! I highly recommend this blouse, it can be easily worn as a crop top if you order a size down, so make sure you get your measurements right when you're ordering it (it's all based on Asian size.)
Also, it's super affordable, so you can't go wrong with it :)
DISCLAMER: Dresslink did send me this free sample blouse for reviewing purposes, but all opinions are honest and my own.

SHADES OF BLUE
Today's look is something that I don't usually wear. Colors are not really my thing, so to wear blue from head to toe was quite a challenge! On top of that, I wanted to mix patterns as well... It's good to get out of your comfort zone sometimes, and to be honest, even though this look is quite flashy, it's also uber comfortable! And this is usually a deal breaker to me.
What do you think of wearing one color head to toe and mixing patterns?

#INSTAWEEK
Hello! Life in Napa has been a bit crazy lately with lots of people coming and going, and 4th of July weekend frenzy to top it all off. Therefore, you can find a lot of red, white, and blue color inspired photos on my Instagram feed, some fashion posts and a little bit of randomness.
Take a look yourself!
My attempt on eating healthy: raspberry chia seed jam on a whole wheat toast and chia seed pudding with berries are my go to breakfast/ lunch/ snack fit ideas as of now.
A little throwback to my 4th of July outfit from last year as I was trying to come up with a look for this one. I'll admit, I didn't plan much but still was able to come up with something that reflected the colored theme of the day (see the beginning of the post.)
4th of July is all about celebrating the day in a good company, relaxing and eating indulging!
Those chocolate filled beignets were my first and definitely not last!
I recently wrote a little something about my favorite accessory, which seems to be trending more and more these days. I'll have a post coming to the blog about my favorite way to tie a neck scarf and what exactly I use for this purpose soon. For now, you can see my inspirations here.
Latest Target purchases. I'm all about flowy, lightweight shirts and fun prints for summer, and those two little numbers are just that and more. Because what can beat a great quality for a small price?!
Read all about the blue marble like blouse here.
Another option for an easy summer outfit is a maxi dress. I especially love this Target striped black and white number paired with a turquoise necklace for a little pop of color. See more photos here.

CHEAP CHIC SUMMER STYLE
Just before I moved to California for summer, me and my friends attended an Italian festival in Wilmington, Delaware. It's a yearly celebration or should I say a feast! It's one of those street and very neighborly events that you don't want to miss. Plus, Italians are just the best when it comes to celebrating their culture (trust me, I know. ;))
Now about that cheap chic summer look. I got this Coral Reef Button Up Blouse at Target, and it's really unlike everything I owned before. See, here's a little confession - I hate wearing anything with buttons on it, it's just a little something I never liked as a kid. Playing with buttons is not my thing. Now that I'm older, it may seem silly but I still avoid them as much as I can. When I reach for button up shirts, I usually try to make sure I get one with a double lining that covers the buttons. Or at least I pick one with the ones that don't stand out. I know, you probably think I'm crazy, it's just one of those triggers, different for everybody, and this is mine.
Anyway, I got this blouse and immediately fell in love. It's super affordable - $20, and the quality is unbelievable. It's really like Target's motto: Expect More, Pay Less :) I already got so many compliments on it, I think it's perfect for this blissful California weather.
As for the white shorts, those are from JC Penney , same price range as the blouse, and I got them few years ago. I think they looked great paired with a marble-like shirt.
What do you think?

TREND ALERT: NECK SCARF
Source: Joules Blog
We all know right accessories can make or brake an entire outfit. Taking that I don't usually accessorize much, I always go the safest way and keep my details to minimum. There is, however, one thing that caught my eye recently, and it is the neck scarf. I'm talking silk, short, (or bandana) kind of scarves. Those ones that used to make the old Hollywood stars' outfits classic and timeless. Paired with white or striped shirts, I can only think of one person - Audrey Hepburn - class at its best.

My modern muse - Arielle Noa Charnas from Something Navy. She has an exceptional sense of style so I would probably wear anything she presents online anyway, but these Instagram posts actually inspired me to try this trend myself. It's such an easy way to add a little bit of European chicness to your everyday style, don't you agree?

Vanessa Hudgens rocking a bandana/kerchief around her neck. I love the Parisian/rocker look she's sporting, but frankly, anything she puts on I'm obsessed with! She sure is the one to follow!
Finding the right way to tie a neck scarf can be daunting. I even had a hard time finding one to start with! I did, however, found a solution and an alternative to make wearing your scarf easy for you. Here's a sneak peek of what's to come soon to the blog! Stay tuned!
