#INSTAWEEK

Let's go back in time to two weeks ago when I landed in beautiful San Francisco and took a bus to where my new (temporary) home is now. I came to Napa Valley thanks to my wonderful friend who recommended me for a job she used to do, and I will be forever grateful for her thoughtfulness! Good things truly do come to those who work hard, so don't be afraid to put in work!

My recent views are killers! I live in beautiful Saint Helena where vineyards are just outside the door... and when I'm done working, I can relax by the pool and just reflect on great opportunities I'm glad I was willing to take.

Isn't Summer just the best time of the year?! I don't know about you but it's my absolute favorite, and oh, in exactly a month and a day I'm turning 25! No reasons to complain about over here ;)

Living in a new place means getting to try new things. This kombucha drink is definitely something else and if it's healthy and good for you, then why not? Even if it tastes like a wine that went bad ;P
Oh, and those peaches! Freshly picked from our tree are an every day staple! I even took on a baking job and made a peach cobbler that actually tasted good! Win win.

Summer, summery, summerish ootd. I'm all about denim shorts, fun prints and aviators!
You can read my recent post about this Sheinside top here.

A couple inspirations as of late. A fashion blogger Julie Sarinana from Sincerely Jules has actually been a huge style role model for me for a couple years now, and I truly believe everything she wears and photographs is on point. The picture on the left is from her recent trip to Cuba. See her Instagram here.
As far as Kendall Jenner, I saw her in this dress somewhere on Instagram as well, and just couldn't take my eyes off of her! How gorgeous is this dress (in love with the color and design!) and her effortless modeling?

My latest attempt on a sexy summer asymmetrical LBD. Read more about it here. Fun fact: Opposed to Kendall Jenner, my modelling was not as effortless as it may seem, and it took a couple hours of uncomfortable arching my back to take a few good shots! I'm so appreciative for all the great comments on this post from you guys, just wanted you to know about behind the scenes of those shoots! Let's just say, if it wasn't for my boyfriend's patience and encouragement, I probably wouldn't even crack a smile that day!

FOOD fact: I have the biggest sweet tooth ever, so the quickest way to my heart is a plate full of pastries! If you don't feel like eating sweets, just cook me something Polish and I'll be happy too! Seriously though, stuffed cabbage (golabki) are my favorite meal to make (funny enough my mom taught me how to make them through Skype ;) - thanks mom!), so usually when I serve them, you know I'm trying to impress somebody ;P

Anybody feeling me right now? Weekends usually seem so short, but thankfully I am in a beautiful place right now where every day feels like I'm in paradise, anyway!
That being said, I'm off to taste some wine!

Have a wonderful Sunday!

PERFECT SUMMER LBD

In my recent posts, I talked all about beach (here) and casual (here) summer appropriate styles. Today it's time to discuss a more serious look, and what means more business than a classic LBD! This little black dress is a special number, because it absolutely compliments my body type. I know I'm going to sound silly now, but I never really felt confident wearing skin tight clothes... until I grew up and realized this is what I look best in. Ladies, number one rule in styling: dress appropriately to your figure! I cannot stress it enough.

Now please take a closer look at this rock 'n' roll Alexis' Asymmetrical mini dress from Amliee Couture. The cut, the material and the overall feel of this little number is just amazing. Plus, of course, it's black! Ain't nobody can go wrong with that.

Dzieki asymetrycznemu cieciu mozemy sie czuc komfortowo w obu sytuacjach. Zgadzacie sie?

Business in the front, party in the back!

Love the asymmetrical cut in this dress. It's such a popular trend this season and I am not surprised at all. This style allows you to wear the dress for a night out parties with your friends (showing off some leg), as well as the more formal events (covering up the other one). I also added a pop of color with those Black & White House ... peep toe pumps to break up the all black look a bit.

DISCLAMER: Amliee Couture did send me this free sample dress for reviewing purposes, but all opinions are honest and my own.

What's your favorite LBD for summer? Would love to hear from You!

L.A. TRAVEL DIARY: EATING OUT

I could not wrap up my L.A. Travel Diary without telling you about some great eats around the city! There's so much variety in California! My friend did a great job introducing me to many new places, so today I picked out a few ''the best of the best spots'' that you absolutely MUST eat at. Believe me, the foodie that he is and the always hungry girl that I am, you won't regret visiting those places ;)

BREAKFAST at Paper or Plastik Cafe

Let's start off with this note. It was the first time I came across such an idea, and I think it's brilliant. With all the social media frenzy and a feeling of staying updated every second of the day, sometimes we forget about the little things and those that are right in front of us. Sometimes it's good to put down your phone for a while and just enjoy your meal and conversation. I know, often it all looks too good not to take a picture (and I'm guilty of it too), but it's important to have boundaries. Props to Paper or Plastik Cafe for a nice reminder!

As far as food goes, Paper or Plastik Cafe offers the highest quality of food and an interesting menu. There were many things on the list that seemed very new to me. Since they serve everything fresh, I would recommend coming early, because they tend to run out of things. I had to put in three orders to finally get what they actually still had. Nevertheles, it was still amazing. I ended up with a turkey and avocado sandwich with a bacon JAM! BAM! Wild party in my mouth.

address: 5772 W Pico Blvd

LUNCH at 101 Coffee Shop

Next up is this Hollywood landmark (best known for its appearance in the Swingers movie and the TV show Entourage), which will take you back to the 1960's.

Authentic retro style design, amazing service and even better food, those are all the reasons to vote in favor for this place. And when I say amazing food, of course I mean American staples - milkshakes, burgers and pies. I went with the waitress's suggestion, and got a Nut 'n' Honey Shake (made with vanilla ice cream, peanut butter and honey) - insert lots of crazy happy emojis. And of course a cheeseburger with frieeees.

address: 6145 Franklin Avenue, Hollywood

SWEET TREAT from Sprinkles Cupcakes

This one is the obvious choice when you're in L.A. Although the city is known for being a capital of donuts, you have to make a stop at Sprinkles and try their delicious treats. It's a must and an order!

address: 9635 South Santa Monica Boulevard
189 the Grove Drive
735 South Figueroa Street

DINNER at Craig's

If you're a fan of  any celebrities, you know paparazzi follow them everywhere, especially in Los Angeles. Craig's is known for mouth watering dishes, but also for being a celebrity hot spot. Practically any night you go there, you'll find somebody famous. I got to see Ozzy Osbourne with his wife Shanon, Cara Santana and the novelist Jackie Collins. Just pick a seat at the bar and you'll notice everybody coming in. As soon as the camera flashes go on, you'll know somebody important just entered the restaurant ;) Apart that fact, food is amazing and staff really friendly. The only picture I got to take is the one of a chocolate pizza. It's a special treat, which doesn't even exist in the menu, so you just have to ask for it. It's worth it!

address: 8826 Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood

LATE NIGHT RUN to Carney's

By now you probably heard about L.A. staple fast food In 'n' Out, but I've got an alternative for you, which I believe is even better. For those late runs munchies -  head to Carney's! I don't know if it was the high after all the fun watching a stand up comedy at the Comedy Store nearby or a couple drinks I've had, but this meal was everything I needed at midnight! And how cool is it dining out on a train on Sunset Strip (few blocks from Chateau Marmont)?!

address: 8351 Sunset Boulevard

BEACHWEAR: SheInside crop blouse

Hello from Napa Valley, California!

In case you were wondering why I haven't been posting so much lately, I just made a move for summer to the West Coast and tried to acclimatize a bit before I get back to my normal blogging routine! I do have a lot of material prepared beforehand so I can schedule my posts without any interruption, just still have to adjust to the Pacific time zone ;) That being said, if you notice my posts going up a little later, I apologize! Doing the best I can :)

Now onto the fashion post I have for ya today! With summer in full force now, for me it's all about a combination of denim shorts and tops. Last week I presented you a total H&M look including a striped crop top, kimono and jean shorts (see photos HERE.)

Today, another crop top makes an appearance, but this time, it's a whole different story. I found this tribal print blouse scrolling through all the cute stuff on SheInside's website. I swear they have the most adorable pieces (though I would be careful putting into your shopping cart everything you see, some of those pieces may not have the best quality, but the price!!!)

This V neck blouse has the most perfect feel for the beach. Material, the print, the style of this top just screams beachwear. There's definitely a lot of cleavage showing, but if you decide to go out and make it more appropriate, all you have to do is to tie up two tassel strings in the front and you're all set! The most perfect multi-purposed beach/summer cover up!

PL: Dzien dobry z pieknej doliny Napy w polnocnej Kalifornii! Mam nadzieje, ze nikt nie zauwazyl mojej chwilowej nieobecnosci, podczas gdy probowalam sie zaklimatyzowac w nowym miejscu! Przygotowalam dla was wiele stylizacji przed wyjazdem, wiec moja blogowa rutyna zostaje bez zmiany. Prosze jednak o wyrozumialosc, gdyz z dziewiecio godzinna roznica czasowa ciezko znalezc odpowiedni czas na publikowanie postow. Moga one w najblizszym czasie pojawiac sie o dziwnych dla was godzinach ;) Z gory przepraszam!

A teraz do rzeczy! Dzisiejsza stylizacja to kolejna letnia odslona, wiec bardzo na luzie i przyjemnie! Przegladajac jeden z blogow polskich blogerek zauwazylam ten top o ktorym pisala kolezanka i to bylo moje pierwsze zetkniecie z SheInside. Szok, bo maja naprawde swietne propozycje! Co prawda trzeba uwazac z wyborem wszystkiego co popadnie, poniewaz nie wszystkie rzeczy wygladaja tak jak na zdjeciach i jakosciowo tez nie bardzo. Polecam jednak moj dzisiejszy top! Sprawdzony material - swietny na plaze, ciekawy print i design! Jak dla mnie idelana propozycja na lato! :)
