COLOR BLOCK FOR NYE

NYE is just around the corner and it's time to narrow down your dress options!

Even though I'm not a huge color freak, I wanted to try something new and play with this neon dress from LaFe Fashion Boutique. I actually won this dress in an Instagram giveaway and I really love it. I thought pairing it with a chunky, oversized pink sweater from Forever 21 would be a fun combo.

PREPPY FOR HOLIDAYS

Since holiday season is all about spending time with your loved ones, today I dropped by my best friend's house, as I didn't get to see her over Christmas. I also wanted to say my goodbyes before I leave tomorrow for Texas! Can't wait to be spending NYE away, it's actually a part of my yearly ritual to be traveling and welcoming new year in a new place.

As for my outfit, this is probably the preppiest I have ever been (or will be). My style is usually more street casual, girly, but never preppy. Change is always welcome though, and so here's my grown up version of a Christmas card this year, I think.

I received this starry sweater from BANGGOOD and wanted to bring it to your attention right away. I'm really happy with the quality and its overall look. I think it's a perfect sweater for the holiday season! What do you think?

This is my fourth Christmas I am spending without my family in Poland, but I sure do feel loved from a far and those I share this day with here in Delaware.

Lastly, as we come closer to the end of 2015, I wanted to thank you all, my readers and viewers, for sharing this virtual journey with me! My almost two years of blogging wouldn't be the same without you guys!

W tym szczegolnym dniu, pragne zyczyc wam wielu powodow do radosci. Abyscie kochali tak mocno jak pragniecie byc kochanym. Niech ten dzien (i kazdy kolejny) bedzie wypelniony usmiechem, rodzina, przyjaciolmi, tradycjami i pysznym jedzeniem!

To juz moje czwarte swieta z dala od rodziny w Polsce, ale zdecydowanie nie moge narzekac na brak milosci w tym dniu, zza oceanu tudziez tu w Ameryce.

Na koniec, z uwagi na dobiegajacy koniec roku, chcialam wam, moim drogim obserwatorom i czytelnikom, podziekowac za dzielenie ze mna tej wirtualnej przygody. Ostatnie (prawie) dwa lata blogowania nie bylyby takie same bez was!

2016 WEDDING WITH COCOMELODY

When I was approached by CocoMelody to talk about wedding dresses for the upcoming year, I immediately said yes. After all, what woman doesn't like to look at pretty dresses, right? Even though I'm not getting married yet, I think it's OK to be pinning wedding looks for a future reference, even if it's just to find out later that my taste has changed.

CHRISTMAS GIFT IDEA + GIVEAWAY

 To create my iPhone case, I used a particular photograph for an inspiration. Since I love black and marble is such a hit lately, I wanted to incorporate both into my design. To make it even more personal, I added a text that I have tattooed on my ribs (my very first tattoo I have gotten).

 I wanted my text color to be a little bit lighter to make it look like the words are engraved on the marble.

Overall, I'm really happy with how this design came out.

NEW YORK CITY PHOTO DIARY

It's been a while since I wrote a travel post, so here it is. 

Last week I had a privilege to spend a Thanksgiving week in New York City and do all of the things I love the most. It doesn't even matter if I've done them like a million times before. I'm always a little bit more excited being able to show somebody around, especially, if it's their first time ever. 

I don't know what it is, but being in the city alone gives me such a kick of energy every single time I'm there. This is where I belong.

Poniewaz tydzien temu mialam okazje spedzic kilka dni w Nowym Jorku, mysle ze to odpowiedni czas by pokazac wam co tam robilam. Nie wiem czy tez tak macie z konkretnymi miastami, ale w przypadku Nowego Jorku, nie wazne jest dla mnie ile razy wczesniej widzialam czy bylam juz w danym miejscu. Uwielbiam oprowadzac moich znajomych nawet po tych oklepanych, turystycznych miejscowkach. Sam widok podniecenia i blysku w ich oczach jest dla mnie bezcenny. To miasto zdecydowanie ma w sobie cos czemu nie da sie oprzec. Zawsze dodaje mi tyle energii i upewnia, ze zostalam stworzona do zycia w tym wiecznie goniacym kociole.

I don't remember last time I had such relaxing and fun holidays. It truly is all about the people you're spending it with. The good food doesn't hurt either... And oh boy, this Thanksgiving year it was exceptionally fantastic! Although, unfortunately, I can't take much credit for preparing that dinner, I was killing it in the washing dishes department. ;)

 Poniewaz nie moge spedzic swiat z moja rodzina w Polsce, zazwyczaj decyduje sie na podroze i w miare mozliwosci, spedzam je z moimi przyjaciolmi. W koncu nie ma to jak swieta w doborowym towarzystwie. Dobre jedzenie tez nigdy nie robi nikomu krzywdy ;)

This year I also FINALLY crossed off the list the one and only.... KATZ'S! I can't even begin to tell you how long I've been dreaming of this day. Let me just say it was SO worth the wait!

Ladies and gentleman, THE pastrami sandwich. Do yourself a favor and book a one day/ weekend/ whatever trip to New York city and plan a whole adventure around visiting this place. You won't regret it. And you can thank me later.
